Robert Thomas Halbrooks April 4,1954 - August 2, 2018 Robert was born in Blytheville, Arkansas to Bobby Halbrooks and Mildred (King). Robert was a loving husband, caring father, and the best grandfather. A champion of social consciousness, a one-man show comedian, an amazing storyteller, a drummer who played from his heart and soul, a fisherman, a fashionable dresser and a hard-working family man. Simply put, a great man! It all began when he married the love of his life Kathleen (Davis) on August 27, 1977. The first glance happened at a school dance where Robert was performing with his band. From then on, their love blossomed. A love so strong and stubborn, brought 40+ years of marriage. Along with blasting the television so loud the neighbors could hear, or watching a show over and over because he fell asleep, to walking up and down every aisle of the grocery store, Kathy had her work cut out with him but they absolutely loved each other unconditionally. Love at first sight, young love blessed them with 3 children and in-laws; Mari (Jason) Windisch, Mark (Misti) and Matthew (Krystal). He was a wonderful grandfather to seven grandchildren; Logan, Hayden, Mason, Natalie, Micah, Mia, and Isla. When it came to family he showed everyone that family came first. He wore his heart on his sleeve. Every concert, sporting event, or moment he could spend time with family he would, especially when it came to his grandchildren. They all had him wrapped around their finger. Robert passed away surrounded by his family. Preceded by father, mother, brother and uncle. Robert will always remain in our hearts.
