Robert L. Schanke

Robert L. Schanke Age 85, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2022, with cherished family at his side. Beloved father of Dawn (Bill) Panfil, Robin Koutecky, Lisa Persch and Scott Schanke. Proud grandpa of Ella Koutecky and Emma Persch. Former husband of Nancy Schanke. Dearest brother of Ardis (Bud) White. Preceded in death by his parents Hoot and Peg Schanke. Also survived by a niece, a nephew, other relatives, and friends. Robert was a US Army veteran serving with Ray Nitschke and retired from the Brady Corp after almost 20 years of service where he was a mentor to many coworkers in his field. He was an inventor and engineer, the recipient of over 42 US Patents, the most of any Brady Corp employees. He enjoyed a Pabst Blue Ribbon, EAA events, watching NASCAR, a frequent patron of Hales Corners Speedway and an avid Packers Fan. Memorial Gathering on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the MAX A SASS & SONS - WESTWOOD CHAPEL, W173S7629 Westwood Drive, Muskego from 11am until the Memorial Service at 1pm.
