Robert L. Burgoon Jr. Was called home on February 16, 2022 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Rose Marie (nee Yost) for 60 years. Loving father of Brian (Rachel), John, and Ann Marie (Bryan) Rubin. Proud grandpa of Garrett. Dear brother of Estelle (the late Bob) and the late Mary Ellen (the late Clem). Further survived by nieces and nephews, other loved relatives, and friends. Bob retired from Bucyrus Erie after 35 plus years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He was a proud member of the Boy Scouts and the Lion’s Club. Bob also played Santa Claus for over 50 years including 5 years for the city of South Milwaukee. Visitation will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church (800 Marquette Ave., So. Milwaukee) on Thursday, February 24 from 9AM to 10:45AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Entombment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob's name are appreciated to the American Heart Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
