Wojczulis, Robert James "wojo" Found peace on May 13th from his battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband of Jessica. Dear son of Barbara and the late James Wojczulis. Father of Mary Taylor, Alexandra, Sunni , Gabrielle and the late Nicholas. Survived by sisters Wendy Wojczulis and Lori (Ken) Biro. Grew up on the Southside where he attended Walter Allen, St Stan's and Boys Tech. His love for his country prompted his 30 year military career beginning as a US Marine in the 4th Marine Division. He was a platoon sergeant and then acting platoon commander. A majority of his time was spent in the Air Force Reserves at the 440th. He was a crew chief and deputy chief in the fire dept during Operation Freedom. He also did 2 different tours in the Middle East. For 9 years Robert was a police officer for District 5, 3 and Avenues West in the city of Milwaukee. The past 9 years Robert used the skills he learned in the Air Force and became a firefighter for the Milwaukee County Airport. Making many valuable friends he worked hard in the department as a crew chief. We, his family and friends, thank him for his service to this country and will miss him deeply. He's in a peaceful place where his dad and son were waiting for him. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Thursday, May 17 from 3-7pm. Funeral Service at 7pm. Burial at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery on Friday at 10am. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorials to help cover medical expenses. Max A.
