Robert J. "Bob" Safka

Robert James Safka, 65, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 3, 2017 surrounded by family. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Felix Safka and Theresa (Sucharski) Safka, his brother Phillip and his step-sister Sharon. Robert is survived by his loving wife Mary (nee Jacobs); Stepmother Sylvia (Wankowski) Safka; beloved sons Robert (Jennifer), Tim (Patrice) and Rick; step-children Catherine (John) Tracy, Melissa (Jason) Kintop and Anthony Levi; grandchildren April, Mikayla, Haley, Samantha, Alexander, Brady, Zachary, Madeline and Jonah. Further survived by siblings, step-siblings and other family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Aurora Oncology and Palliative Teams especially Dr. R. Qamar, Dr. W. Matthaeus, Denise Anderson and the Aurora Hospice Team for their compassionate care. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Monday, August 7 from 4 -7 PM.
