Blankenburg, Robert G. Found eternal peace with our Lord on June 21, 2018 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Arlene. Loving father of Russ (Naomi), and Lora. Proud grandfather of David and Benjamin. Dear brother of Jan (Bill). Preceded in death by his sister Shirley (Mel) and brother Jim (Pat). Further survived by caring nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors. Bob graduated from West Division, served in the Army, retired from Evinrude Motors/Outboard Marine and continued to work throughout retirement until the age of 80. He was an avid Badger Football fan and he held season tickets for 57 years. Bob had an infectious smile and a passion for reading, story-telling, and helping others, He will be greatly missed. Memorial gathering on Thursday, July 5, from 10:00AM - 11:30AM at the funeral home. Memorial service at 11:30AM. Private inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. If desired, memorials to the Cancer Research Institute appreciated.
