Robert Eugene Lee Sr. of Brookfield, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the age of 85. Bob was born on Jan. 1, 1935 to the late Harold Lee Sr and Mary (nee Saline) in Superior, Wisconsin. Bob was preceded in death by Donna (Gleissner) who he was married to and cherished for 55 wonderful years. Above all else, Bob was a family man who was a devoted and loving father to Bob (Kim Kleiman-Lee), Don (Meg Bartness-Lee) and Kelly (Mike) Burke. Proud grandpa of Shannon, Ashley, Bridget, Josh, Katie, Alyssa, and Sam. Missed by his sister Toots (Dennis) Saladis. Preceded in death by his brothers Harold Jr (Marlene), Jim (Esther) and Dave (Bobbie). Also loved by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Bob was a devout catholic and involved member at St Lukes Parish for 35 years until joining St John Vienny Parish for the past 15 years. Bob also held a special place in his heart for the men in his Saturday morning men’s faith sharing group. Bob was one of the founding members of this group that met every Saturday morning for the past 25+ years to share God’s word. He was also a frequent attendee at the Jesuit Retreat House in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Bob worked proudly for 40 years in the foundry at Briggs and Stratton Corporation. He was also an avid golfer who, prior to his affliction with MS, spent much of his free time on the golf course. He was an avid billiards player and bowler who loved to spend time with his many friends trying to perfect these crafts. Bob was also involved in the neighborhood association for the Brookfield neighborhood where he and Donna lived for 50 years and where they made many close friends. A memorial gathering at Max Sass Funeral Home, Westwood Chapel, on Saturday June 5, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Memorial Service at 11:15 AM. All are invited to celebrate Bob's life at a luncheon to follow the service at Bushy’s Pub & Grill and honor Bob in 1 last game of pool! In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Jesuit Retreat House on Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh, WI.
