Robert “Bob” Joseph Tice, 85, passed away unexpectedly and went to his heavenly home on May 27, 2020. Due to quarantine precautions there will be a private family memorial on June 20. Bob was born on Aug. 13, 1934 in Pershing to Clarence and Thelma (Hotzel) Tice from Medford. Bob was a dedicated husband, faithful father, grandfather and great grandfather. He worked in the printing business as a press operator during his full career in Medford, Oconomowoc, Madison and Milwaukee. He was active in the AFA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) and was enthusiastic about making airplane and car models and was involved in EAA AirVenture. In retirement he was an avid woodworker and gardener. Bob is survived by his wife, Joan (Schmoldt) Tice of 65 years of marriage on Oct. 9, 1954 with their only child, Mark J. Tice and his wife, Lavonne (Olsen) Tice; grandsons, Tristan, Timothy (Robyn) and Aaron (Stephanie) Tice; six great-grandchildren, William, Cecilia, Sophia, Alexis, Addison and Samuel Tice; and his siblings, David Tice, Bruce Tice, Mary Ellen Friday, Philip Tice, Elizabeth Cullen, Laura Thielke and Raymond Tice. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Sacred Heart Community over their many years of residency, along with Froedtert Hospital and Hospice.
