Robert Axel Johnson "Bob" Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 12, 2021 at the age of 78. Bob is survived by his wife Judy, children Erik (Isela) and Nicole, grandchildren Diego, Lorenzo, Santiago, Axel and Landon. He has one surviving brother Rick (Nancy) Cummings and 3 brothers who preceded him, William, Rolyn Johnson and Al Cummings. Further survived by sisters-in-law Nancy Laguna and Beverly Reeves, brothers-in-law Wayne (Carol) Johnson and Dale(Debra) Johnson, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. A celebration of life for Robert will be held at Max A. Sass Funeral Home, Mission Hills Chapel, on Saturday September 18, 2021 with the gathering from 10 until 12 noon with a celebration of Bob's life service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations in Bob's name may be made to the charity of your choice. Please see the funeral home website for further details. The family would like to thank Dr. Pant and the oncology department at St. Lukes for their care of Bob; in addition, special thanks to Aurora at Home Hospice Care for all their help. Bob served in the U.S. Navy. After his discharge, he worked in the construction industry in the metropolitan Milwaukee area where he was well-known and respected. Bob's passion was hunting. He was an avid reader, loved doing crossword puzzles and an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. He loved playing cards, traveling with his family. Bob will be remembered for his infectious laugh, his love of life and his willingness to help others. He especially loved his wife, children and grand children; his faith in God kept him strong.
