Schabowski, Robert A. ''Mr. Bob'' Called Home to his Heavenly Father on March 21, 2008 at the age of 61 after a long battle with brain cancer. Loving husband of Cynthia (nee Woods) for 36 years. Dedicated father of Sarah and James (Elizabeth). Beloved brother of Richard (Debra)and brother-in-law of Tony (Colleen) Impellitteri, Dale (Claudia) Renaud and Richard (Helen) Fliss. Survived by nephews and nieces, Sal (Melissa), Nicholas, Amanda, Caitlin, Timothy and Julie. Life-long Milwaukee resident, graduated from Pulaski High School, MATC, UW-Parkside. Proud of his country, he served in Vietnam for the Army. Devoted to influencing the lives of young adults as an active coach, teacher in the Franklin School District, and youth group mentor at Southbrook Church. Special thanks to the family and friends of Bob for their support during his illness. Additional thanks to the compassionate caregivers at St. Luke's, Select Speciality, and Zilber Family Hospice. Memorial from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM with Service at 2:30 PM on Sunday, March 30 at Forest Middle School, 8225 W. Forest Hill Ave., Franklin. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Zilber Family Hospice would be appreciated.
