Witterholt, Robert A. Born to Eternal Life on October 28, 2007. Age 86 years. Beloved husband of 61 years of Pearl (nee Spaeth). Loving father of Robert R., Gail (Herman) Acevedo and Thomas S. Witterholt. Fond grandfather of Edward (Dee), Diane (Bill) Marmon, Adam (Cheryl) Acevedo and Stefanie Acevedo. Great grandfather of Brittany, Michael, Haley and Hannah. Dear brother of Arthur and Charles (Pat) Witterholt. Brother-in-law of Ruth Witterholt. Preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and Raymond; and a sister, Lillian. Bob will be joined by his little buddy, Mandy. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services Tues. Nov. 6 at 9:15 AM from the Funeral Home to ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST PARISH, 8500 W. COLDSPRING RD. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Entombment Mt.Olivet Cemetery. Visitation AT THE FUNERAL HOME on Mon. from 5 – 7 PM with a Vigil Service at 6 PM and on Tues. from 8:30 AM at the funeral home until 9:15 AM. Robert was a proud WWII veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corp. as a Tech Sgt. in the Asiatic Pacific Area. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Masses to the church or to St. John the Evangelist Athletic Association appreciated.
