Robert A. Andresen

October 8, 1936 — December 19, 2023

~Robert Anthony Andresen, known affectionately as "Bob" by his loved ones, passed away surround by family on December 19, 2023, at Care-Age of Brookfield nursing home at the age of 87. Born on October 8, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Royden and Mary Jo (Harrington) Andresen. His early years were spent in West Allis with his parents and sister, Mary Ellen (Larry) Falk, who predeceased him.


Bob's primary education saw him journeying by train to St. Ben's Boarding School in Altoona, Wisconsin, from third through eighth grade, instilling in him an enduring sense of independence and discipline. He later attended St. John's High Boarding School in St. Cloud, Minnesota, where he continued to build the strong moral and ethical foundation that would guide him throughout his life. Bob furthered his education at Marquette University, where he studied business, preparing him for a lasting career.


Following his studies, Bob honorably served his country in the Airforce National Guard for eight years. He then embarked on a distinguished 24-year tenure as the financial business manager at Berndt Buick, where his sharp mind and keen eye for detail were invaluable.


Bob leaves behind his beloved wife, Judith (Bachhuber) Andresen, with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring 63 year partnership. Together, they raised their family in Franklin which included their sons Patrick, Christopher, Eric (Shannon), and the late Rob Andresen; daughters Heidi (Dan) Zawistowski and Michele (Tom) Malan. His legacy extends to his cherished grandchildren Emily Andresen, Brandon Andresen, Michael Malan, Brooklynne Andresen, Mason Malan, and Evan Zawistowski, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy! His life was further enriched by the companionship of his adored and loyal dog, Coco, and further survived by many nieces and nephews whom he enjoyed and loved.


Bob's interests reflected his appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed nature, particularly the vibrant colors of the fall season. His adventurous side shone through in traveling with his wife Judi and their friends, with favorite destinations including the excitement of Las Vegas and the warmth of Florida to visit family.


Robert Anthony Andresen's family will gather to honor and celebrate his life privately; no funeral planned per his request. Bob's journey may have reached its sunset, but the warmth of his presence will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved him.~
