Rita M. Cannestra

Rita M. Cannestra (nee Quinn) Passed away peacefully and joined her beloved husband Frank on Friday, March 18, 2022 at the age of 87. Beloved mother of Michael (Margaret), Mary (the late David) Spiegel, Thomas (Terry), Paul (Lori), Donald (Joan), Karen (Brian) Pier, William (Jolene), James (Kari), Todd (Shannon), and Patrice (James) Zenk. Grandmother of 33 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Sister of John (the late Mary) Quinn, the late Betty (Eugene) Johnson and the late Leonard (Kay) Quinn. Also loved by other relatives and friends. A celebration of Rita’s life and all she accomplished will be held on Sunday April 10, 2022 at The Village Bowl, N86W18330 Main St, Menomonee Falls, WI. beginning at 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials in Rita's name may be made to St Vincent DePaul Society of Milwaukee. Rita firmly believed that there was always room for one more at the table. Whether it was someone in need of a meal or someone in the community seeking justice or empowerment, there was always one more seat at the table!
