Rita Lashley

Rita  Lashley (nee Homer), of South Milwaukee, WI, passed away unexpectedly on November 5th, 2024 at the age of 66. She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Homer, granddaughter Catherine, and her husband, Maurice Lashley. She is survived by her mother, Angeline Homer. She is also survived by her children, James (Katie) Hintz, Gary Poehnelt, Chad Sobczak, Travis (Jessica) Sobczak, Corrinne Senda, Tamara (Cindy) Lashley, Ivry (Jenny) Lashley, and Marice Lashley. Grandchildren James, MaKenna, Evan, Aaliyah, Chad, Amiyah, Charles, Ethan, Nathen, Chace, Judith, Alijah, Mi’Yannah, Caysen, Bryson, Ivry, Brooklyn, Elijah. Best friend of Shannon for 22 years. Further survived by many other family and friends.

Rita loved her family and her animals. She will be missed for her warm personality and her contagious smile. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Rita’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association. A private service was held for the family. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
