Richard T. Puls "Captain Richie" Entered God's loving arms on April 8, 2020 at the age of 81. Cherished Husband of Connie for 34 years. Loving father of Richard G., Laura (Joe) Chada, Deborah Cortlandt and Kathy (Michael) Olson. Grandfather to Brandan Chada.Brother of Robert (Mary Ellen) Puls and Delores Otto. Further survived by his long time friend Larry Pfeil who always encouraged his endeavors, long time family friend, Jane Simons, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his first wife Virginia (nee Albanese). Memorial Gathering at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 305 S. First St., Waterford, on Saturday, July 16, 2022 , 9AM - 9:45 AM with a Memorial Mass at 10 AM. Final resting place is at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Captain Richie, charter boat captain, Fishing Guide, Inventor of the Cyclone Spinner Fishing Lure, musician and leader of Capt. Richie & the Helmsman Polka Band. He was a self published author of a book "Tails of Love" a story of his two beloved dogs. He loved gardening, playing his accordion, the company of his family & friends, and his much loved cat “Eli” "You will always be loved, remembered, and missed"
