DeWitt, Richard A. "Rick" Of Oak Creek. Found peace on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the age of 69. Dear father of Dan (Julie) DeWitt and Renae (Jerry) Erickson. Proud grandfather of Jenna and Nick DeWitt and Hunter and Hayley Erickson. Loving brother of Barb (Cliff) Irwin, Darl (Wally) Steinke, Dale (Sharon) DeWitt and Dave (Sue) DeWitt. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Rick was a veteran of the US Army and a proud member of American Legion Post #434 in Oak Creek. He was also employed as a Greendale Firefighter. His smile and laughter will be missed by all. A special thank you to the Oak Creek Fire Department and the amazing nursing staff and doctors at Wheaton Franciscan in Franklin. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons South Shore Chapel on Tuesday, April 21 from 3 - 6 pm. Memorial Service at 6 pm with Military Honors to follow.
