Richard J. Gillitzer

Gillitzer, Richard J. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31st, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Beloved best friend and husband to Deanna for almost 60 years. Loving father to Dean (Kim), Drew (Joy) and Denise (Tadd) Uttke. Treasured Grandfather to Hannah and Devin. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by parents, Margaret and Andrew Gillitzer. Richard was a retired engineer of Wisconsin Bell. Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, September 9th at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist at 8500 W. Cold Spring Road, Greenfield. The family would especially like to thank Dr. Joseph Nicholas, Dr. Salem Shammo and Dr. Brenda Pierce for their care. Special thanks for the compassionate care that the staff at Hales Corners Care Center and Allay Hospice provided to Richard in his final weeks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
