Richard Heinrich, a man of love and boundless kindness, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on May 10, 1935, to Frank and Margaret (Wambach) Heinrich, Richard's life was a testament to the power of gentleness and the strength of family bonds.
As a hobby, he honed his skills as a cabinet maker. Richard established his own business in the community that thrived due to his kindness to others. A dedicated family man, Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Julanne, and his beloved daughter Therese. His legacy is carried on by his children Mary-Jo (Doug) Pierce, Gerianne (Matthew) Bovino, Susan (Chester) Tippet, and Joseph (Donna) Heinrich, as well as his son-in-law Dan Burden. He was a cherished grandfather to Benjamin (Hannah), Garrison, Matthew (Amber), Nick (Sara), Tim, Colin, and Jason, and a great-grandfather to Ella, Seth, and Cole.
In 1988, Richard's heart expanded to include his second wife, Suzanne, and her family. Together, they created a blended family rich in love and mutual respect. Suzanne's children, Janis (Edward Allen) Hancock and Danise Habun, became his own. He was a grandfather to Heidi (Justin), Teresa (Joseph), and Allison (Nate), and a great-grandfather to Leo, Luca, Brooklyn, Roosevelt, and Gordon.
Richard's love for travel took him to many places, but no destination was more cherished than the company of his family. He was a man who loved God deeply, a faith that was reflected in his every action and word. His gentle nature was a comfort to all who knew him, and his readiness to forgive was a lesson in grace. He was slow to anger, quick to forgive, and always the first to offer support. His compassionate spirit left an indelible mark on his family, friends, and community.
