Richard Anthony Graham, fondly known as Dick, was born on October 4, 1932, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With a heart full of warmth and a spirit that radiated kindness, Dick left this world on March 31, 2025, in Fredonia, Wisconsin.
A proud veteran, Dick served in the United States Army during the Korean War, embodying the values of bravery and dedication that are hallmarks of his character. He worked tirelessly as a postal worker until his retirement, where he made a lasting impression on countless lives with his generous smile.
Dick was more than his profession; he was a passionate Judo enthusiast who founded the Wahadachi Judo club and left an indelible mark by refereeing events throughout the country. His love for sports extended beyond the judo; he enjoyed both football and baseball, sharing many memorable moments with family and friends while cheering for his teams.
He is survived by his beloved sister Sharon Hallam and his niece Laurie (Rick) Susen. Dick took great pride in being a great uncle to Nicholas Hallam, Collin (Stacy) Coke, Colton (Abbie) Susen, McKayla Susen, and Aaron Susen. His legacy continues through the laughter and joy of his great-great niece, Lily Coke.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Margaret (Hennig), his brother Gerald Graham, his brother in law Harvey Hallam, and by his niece Leanne Hallam.
Dick will be remembered for his big smile, a gesture that brightened the days of all who encountered him. His presence will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
A Funeral Service will be held in his honor on April 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mount Olivet Cemetery Chapel, located at 3801 West Morgan Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53221, followed by another opportunity to celebrate his life during the Visitation on April 25, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM and concluding at 11:00 AM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Ozaukee County 121 W. Main St., Port Washington, WI 53074.
