Mey, Richard F. Passed away peacefully on February 24, 2019 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Printup) for 54 years. Father of Ken, Cory and the late Jeffrey. David (Shelly) Freiburger, Colgate, WI, Donald (Dawn) Freiburger, Hartland, WI. Chris (Mary) Rian, their son Zachary Rian, Greenfield, WI. Matt Rian, New Berlin, his daughters Mandi and Gwen, Brookfield, WI. Eric (Patti) Rian, their daughter Kaitlyn and son Ben, Milwaukee, WI. Further survived by other family and friends. Preceded in death by Parents Albert and Margaret Mey, Weyauwega, WI. Brother Albert Mey, Scottsdale, AZ. Sisters Trudy (Charles) Raglin, Altadena, CA, Dorothy (Milton) Krueger, Menomonee Falls, WI, Marion Freiburger Westfield, WI, and niece Barbara Blanton (nee Freiburger), Wautoma, WI. Private services were held. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Milwaukee VA Soldiers Home Fund, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the charity of your choice. Richard proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp, First Division, Provisional DMZ Police Company, Korea and worked 36 years with the Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
