Richard E. St. Mary

Richard Edward St. Mary, (94), peacefully passed away Sat. Feb. 26, 2022, at home with loved ones around him. Richard was born in Eden, WI and graduated from Campbellsport, WI High School. After Graduation he enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Alaska. He worked at A.C. Spark plug as a Foreman, working on the Apollo and Gemini Space program making guidance systems for the space rockets, he even got to meet Neil Armstrong. He was a devoted husband to Sophie St. Mary, they had 2 sons and 1 daughter together. Richard was an avid fisherman; he would throw a line out any chance he got. He also enjoyed hunting and foraging for mushrooms and berries. He was a great gambler; many knew him down at Potawatomi where he enjoyed the conversation and poker table alike. Richard was survived by; daughter Joyce (Michael), son Jeffrey (Karen), Grandchildren; Jacqueline (Kyle), Jamie (Keith), Jessica (Matthew), Brent (Tavo), Kate (Michael), Great Grandchildren; Chase, Jayli, Kylie, Grady, Conrad, Jenevieve, Miranda, Scarlett. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. A funeral service will be held at Max a Sass & Sons Funeral Home, 8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin, WI on Friday March 11th from 4-6:30 followed by a Eulogy and Military send off.
