Gaskell Sr., Richard J. "Dick" Born on September 15, 1929 in Elkhorn, WI. Born to Eternal Life on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the age of 87. Dick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Bobbie); 4 children, Chris (Roxanne); Rick (Julie); Laura (Dave) and Jeff (Marnie). Proud grandfather of Dustin and Mattison. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Dick was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. He made his career in agricultural sales. He and Bobbie raised their family in East Troy and then Portage,WI, were fortunate to travel to many places near and far, and retired to Sebring, FL for 20 years. Dick love to golf, find treasures at garage sales, and do his puzzles. He loved watching sports, including the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and his "D-Rays". Dick made friends with and was loved by everyone he met. The family wishes to thank the ladies at Aurora St. Luke's Cancer Center who took such great care of Dick over the past year and became his friends, and the wonderful staff at Zilber Family Hospice who cared for him in his last days. Memorial Gathering at Holy Apostles Catholic Parish (16000 W. National Ave., New Berlin) on Thursday, September 14 from 9:30-10:45AM. Memorial Mass at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
