On February 12, 2023, Richard “Dick” Goetsch ,81, of Franklin, passed away at Cross Roads Care Center of Pewaukee.
Dick worked at P&H for his entire career doing electrical assembler work. He was a member of the Shriner's and Masonic Lodge. He served in the US Army and was honorably discharged, having received the Good Conduct Medal and recognition as a Rifle Marksman.
Dick loved fishing and hunting, driving his Corvette, drinking beers with his buddies in his shop and going to car shows. He was the entertainer, the chef. Dick was a people-person and could just gab at length with a complete stranger.
Dick is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Vernita Goetsch; his daughter, Deanne Henneberry (Craig); his granddaughter, Alexis Henneberry; his step-grandchildren, Kole and Wyatt Henneberry; and one great grandchild, Trace Henneberry.
Dick was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Goetsch (Janice) and Chuck Goetsch; and a sister, Catherine Goetsch.
Visitation will take place on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Max A. Sass and Sons Funeral Home, 8910 W. Drexel Avenue, Franklin, WI 53132, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
Committal Service with full military honors to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Arlington Park Cemetery, 4141 S. 27th Street, Greenfield, WI.
