Richard A. Heard

Richard A. Heard, Age 79, passed away on November 7, 2020. Predeceased by his parents, Royland and Lillie Heard, Richard is survived by his loving wife, Ardeth (nee Tiegs) of 57 years. Richard is lovingly remembered by his children Bruce (Cathy) Heard, Jim Heard, Mike (Lisa) Heard, and Mary Jo (Jon) Pollock, his grandchildren Justin, Amanda, Ashley (Ross), Collin, Katie, Claire, Zachery, Kyle, Garrett, Katelyn, Matthew and Cassie, his brother Lou (Julie) Heard, his sister-in-law Karen (Bill) Kralovec, and many nieces and nephews. Richard was regarded as an exemplar of kindness and compassion throughout his life. Richard was known to treat everyone with dignity and respect, and hoped his actions would serve as an example for all those around him. Richard proudly devoted over 20 years as a manager at the U.S. Postal Service. After his retirement in 2001, he enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, watching the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. Services will be held at a future date to be determined.
