Rev. Donald F. Quartana

Quartana, Rev. Donald F. Of Milwaukee. Was called home to the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011 at the age of 83. Beloved son of the late Peter and Emily, loving brother of the late Peter and Philip Quartana. Brother -in-law of Carol Kubik and Nancy Quartana. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Father's priestly ministry began at St. Agnes Parish, Butler, on June 25, 1953. Over the next 19 years he served as an assistant at St. Gregory the Great, Milwaukee; Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Sheboygan; and St. Joseph Parish, Waukesha. He was pastor at St. William Parish, Waukesha, St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, Kenosha and St. Joseph Parish, Lyons, which included the mission of St. Kilian, Lyons. He retired from active ministry on June 18, 1996. Visitation at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3222 S. 29th St., on Thurs, Sept. 29, 2011, 4-6PM. Mass of Christian Burial 6PM. Memorials to the Milwaukee Archdiocese appreciated.
