Raymond M. Korducki “Ray”, 93, entered the world August 12, 1931 and departed peacefully January 31st, 2025. Devoted husband to Ruth (nee Graeve) for over 64 years. Preceded in death by his daughter Christine (Korducki) Weitekamp and grandson Benjamin Weitekamp. Survived by children Mike (Terri) Korducki, Mary (Michael Delgado) Korducki, Doug ( Beth Risler) Korducki, Mark (Kathy) Korducki, Cathy (Ben) Kallies and Andy (Becky) Korducki. Ray is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
Ray retired in 1990 after a 30 year career with the City of Milwaukee Department of City Development where he was highly respected for his intellect, work ethic and unwavering integrity. Prior to this career, he was drafted and served for 3 years as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Cold War. Ray was an officer and long time member of the Milwaukee Great Lakes Sport Fishermen Club where he ran yearly fishing clinics to introduce the sport of fishing to many children. He spent countless hours fishing the waters of Lake Michigan off the city of Milwaukee that he was so proud of. An avid gardener, he grew heirloom tomatoes and had an impeccable yard full of flowers. He was a talented woodworker who made beautiful furniture and toys, and could repair almost anything. Ray also enjoyed hunting, had a deep respect for nature and loved dogs.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Max Sass Funeral Home-Westwood Chapel on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 10 AM until time of service at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the memory of Ray Korducki to the Milwaukee Great Lakes Sport Fishermen Club.
