Raymond A. “Ray” Balcerzak

Passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Nancy for 25 years. Dear brother of Mary Ann (the late Ernest) Sowinski and the late Gloria Mielke. Dear uncle of the late Craig Sowinski, Cynthia (Dean) Kennedy, Christine (Jerry) Zortman, Shawn (Kathy) Mielke, and Melissa (Joe) Stanford. Great Uncle of Dylan (Sarah) Kennedy, Logan (Sara) Zortman, Abbey (Derrick) Zortman, Clayton (Hannah) Zortman, Ethan (Alyssa) Kennedy, Joey Stanford, and Samantha Stanford. Great-great uncle of Emma Kennedy. Further survived by other loved relatives and friends.

Ray was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for Milwaukee Road and then CP Rail for over 30 years.

Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Mission Hills Chapel (8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin, WI) on Monday, March 31 starting at 4PM until time of service at 6PM. Committal prayer will be held in The Chapel of Flowers at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Tuesday, April 1 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ray’s name would be appreciated to the charity of your choice.
