Randy S. Schmidt

Schmidt, Randy S. Passed away after a brave battle with cancer on December 5, 2016 at the age of 60. Eternal soulmate of Patti Winter-Schmidt. Cherished brother of Craig (Beth), Tim (Diane) and Sandy "Sam" (Mike) Coston. Devoted uncle of Douglas, Andrea, Amy, Dan, Adam, Mitch, Jim, Rich, Sasha, Carly and Jason. Dear great uncle of Eli and Clara. Brother-in-law of Peggy and Dan Kasper, David Winter and Perri and Tom Le Van. Randy will also be missed by other loving relatives and friends. After graduating from Hamilton High School in Sussex, Randy began his career in the United States Air Force as a crew chief for the F4 Phantom Wild Weasels. For the last several decades he worked as a roofer and a machinist. A celebration of Randy's life will be held on Saturday December 17, 2016 from 10 am until 12 pm with a prayer service and military honors at 12 pm. Randy's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the St. Lukes ICU staff for all their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the USO are appreciated. Randy was a lifelong member and supporter of the USO.
