Borucki Quentin J. Passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Age 86. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Wesolowski) for 65 years. Loving father of Robert Borucki, Lynda Borucki (her partner Brian Gurney) and the late Michael Borucki. Son of the late Pearl "Bessie" and the late Tony. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation at St Alphonsus Church 6060 W. Loomis Rd. on Thursday June 29 9 am- 10:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Quentin was a school teacher and principle in the Milwaukee Public Schools for 35 years. He attended former St Gerard's parochial grade school and later received a bachelor's and Master's degree in teaching from UW-Milwaukee. He also served his country during the Korean war. Quentin studied accordion since the age of 9 with the accordion his father bought. He was the lead accordionist with the LAFF Fun Band. Music was a big part of his life, he could also play piano, guitar and banjo. He was a member of the Suburban Players in Greendale, and the Resurrection Choir at St Alphonsus Church. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family and trying to keep the small children quiet "to not scare the fish away" was a challenge!
