Phyllis M. Seefeld

Seefeld, Phyllis M. (nee Maher) Peacefully called home by Our Loving Lord on September 14, 2015 at age 93 at Riverhills West Nursing Home. Survived by her children Barbara (Gary) Wilde, Ralph (the late Sue) Seefeld and Jeffery (Mary) Seefeld. Beloved grandma of Mark Wilde, Michelle (Dan) Schmidt, Jennifer (Roger) Schmitz, Amanda (Jason) Frank, Valerie Donnelly, Sean (Nico) Seefeld. Proud grandma of 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eva (Jones) Maher, two brothers Joseph and Thomas, one sister Cecily and grandson Michael Wilde. Phyllis, a war bride, immigrated with her toddler daughter to Milwaukee from Australia after the close of WWII where she joined her GI husband Harvey. She became an US citizen in 1953 loving her new homeland. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and tending to her flowers. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Riverhills West Nursing Home and Horizon Hospice for the loving care they provided to Phyllis in her last years. A memorial gathering will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Faith Community (S89 W22650 Milwaukee Ave., Big Bend, WI) on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 3-4:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5 PM. Interment will be private for family at Valhalla Cemetery. Max A. Sass and Sons Westwood Directors
