Phillip Douglas Krenz

Phillip Douglas Krenz, known affectionately to friends and family as Phil, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on June 5, 1948, in Wisconsin, Phil's journey came full circle as he departed from the same state that had always been his home.

Phil's early years were marked by a strong sense of community and achievement. He graduated from St. Francis High School in 1966, a milestone that set the tone for a life characterized by diligence and dedication. Phil's commitment to service was evident through his enlistment in the United States Navy, where he served his country with honor and pride. After his military service, he embarked on a career as an equipment maintenance technician at Motorola, a role he held with distinction until his retirement. 

Throughout his life, Phil was a beacon of warmth and friendliness. His loving nature was a comfort to his wife, Blanche Johnson, who stood by his side as both partner and best friend. Phil's family was a source of immense pride and joy, including his cousin Pat Rickun and her family, as well as his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Joanne Dietz, who will fondly remember his gentle spirit and unwavering support.

Phil's passions extended beyond his professional life into the realm of leisure, where he was a fervent football enthusiast. Sundays would find him cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers, a testament to his loyalty and spirited nature as a fan. Phil's love for the game was infectious, and his presence made every game more enjoyable for those around him.

Those who knew Phil would describe him as loving, friendly, and gentle. These attributes were the cornerstones of his character, guiding him in his interactions with others and shaping the legacy he leaves behind. Phil's approachable demeanor made him a cherished friend.

As we bid farewell to Phillip Douglas Krenz, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, friendship, and quiet strength. His memory will continue to inspire and influence all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. Phil's journey through life was one of purpose and joy, and his story will be told with affection and admiration for generations to come.

Reflecting his wishes to his passing there will be no services set.
