Phillip David Dziubek III, known affectionately as Phil, Skip or Flathead Phil to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024, at his home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born on November 10, 1950, to Phillip Dziubek Jr. and Grace (Nowacki) Dziubek.
Phil's early years were spent in the vibrant neighborhoods of Milwaukee, where he attended Boy's Technical High School, laying the foundation for what would become a lifelong career. After graduation, he dedicated over 30 years of service as a Master Certified Mechanic for the City of Milwaukee. His work was not just a job but a testament to his commitment to his community and his exceptional skill in his craft.
Beyond his professional life, Phil was a true car expert and enthusiast, with a particular passion for restoring collectible cars. His hands were rarely still, as he was also a skilled woodworker, creating beautiful pieces that were as functional as they were artistic. Phil's love for craftsmanship was only matched by his love for animals, especially his rescued dogs, who were a constant source of joy and companionship throughout his life. Those who knew Phil would describe him as handy and friendly, a man whose open heart and skilled hands were always ready to help.
Phil's happiest moments were often spent with his family at their cabin, a place of laughter, stories, and cherished memories. He is survived by his daughter, Sara Dziubek and his sister, Kathy (Timothy) Thibedeau. Phil was also a dear uncle to Nathan Thibedeau and Jonathan (Kristen) Thibedeau, and a great uncle to Milo, Jace, and Nolan, who will all miss his playful spirit.
