Pete Marciniak

November 27, 1962 — June 11, 2023

It is with broken hearts that we accept the passing of Pete Marciniak. He was loved and admired by so many and was fiercely devoted to his family. His wife, Suzi (née Sroka) Marciniak, proud father of Max (Tania) Marciniak and Dr. Alison Marciniak. He adored his grandchildren Finn, Rylee and Orion. He is preceded in death by his parents Maximilian and Rose Ann (née Kielpinski) and his brothers Thomas and Michael. His final months were spent spoiling his grandchildren which filled his heart with joy and love.

Throughout his life he maintained friendships with college friends who became like brothers to him. Ken Gozdowiak, Jim Cichy and Mike Stahr helped transform him into the man everyone came to know and love. He had colleagues that he valued as friends, not just “work people”.

His life began in Franklin, Wisconsin with his parents Max and Rose who owned and ran Marciniak Foods. He began his professional career at Lucas-Milhaupt in Cudahy, Wisconsin as the head of Human Resources. Because of his incredible work ethic he continued to rise in the company to achieve the title of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Steel Partners Holdings.

During his tenure, his compassion helped guide countless people to attain their highest potentials while also gaining/earning trust and admiration from all who shared any time with him. His HR staff was invaluable to him. He always viewed them as family who he truly loved and cared about.
