Penny Sue Eifert

Eifert, Penny S. (nee Havey) Passed away surrounded by her family after a long and well fought battle with ovarian cancer on November 29, 2010 at the age of 56. Devoted companion of John Schaefer. Loving mother of Marcy Eifert and Caryn (Michael) Olson. Dedicated and endlessly proud grandma of Madalyn, Tucker “Beans” and Brekken. Dear sister of Lauren (the late Marietta) Havey, Sharron Havey, Loretta (Jerry) Maly, Marlene (David) Spangler and Dennis (Bonnie) Havey. Youngest daughter of the late Alfred and the late Evelyn Havey. Caring godmother of the late Jonathan Dennis Havey and the late Sara Nicole Havey-Clark. Penny will be dearly missed by Milo and reunited with Buka and Beluga. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A celebration of Penny’s life will be held Thursday 7 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel. Visitation Thursday 4-8 pm. Penny’s family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. McGartland, Dr. Pannu, Dr. Bastin and their staff, the staff of VNA and Zilber Hospice for all their loving care. Penny loved to garden, to participate in charity bike rides, spending time daily with her grandchildren and making krumkakas at Christmas.
