Witterholt Pearl M (Nee Spaeth) Surrounded by her family, Wednesday February 22, 2012. Age 89. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Mother of Robert, Gail (Herman) Acevedo and Thomas. Grandmother of Edward (Dee), Diane (Bill) Marman, Adam (Cheryl) Acevedo and Stefanie Acevedo. Great grandmother of Brittany, Michael, Haley, Hannah and Alina. Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Spaeth and Apolonia (nee Folz) and her siblings Walter, Teresa and Margaret. Visitation at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8500 W. Cold Spring Rd, Tuesday, February 28, 4-6pm. Mass of Christian Burial at 6 pm. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 3801 W. Morgan Ave. Wednesday, 11:30am. Please meet at the cemetery office. Pearl worked at Briggs and Stratton as a floor inspector prior to her retirement in 1985. She is a survivor of stage IV ovarian cancer. Pearl had a zest for life and loved to be active right until the end. She loved playing bingo with her cousin-in-law Betty, playing games with her family and attending horse races. Most of all Pearl was one "tough cookie" and will be missed by her loving family.
