Patricia M. Rinzel, known affectionately as Pat to her friends and family, passed away peacefully from natural causes on June 12, 2024, at her residence in Franklin, WI. Born on October 6, 1938, in Milwaukee, WI, Pat's warmth and kindness enriched the lives of those around her for 85 years.


Pat was the loving matriarch of a large and devoted family. Married to her beloved late husband James, she was a dedicated mother to her children Kathy, John, and Joe. Her legacy includes 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit of generosity and love. Pat's homemaking skills created a nurturing environment for her family, filled with joy, laughter, and an abundance of memorable gatherings.


In addition to her focus on family, Pat had a vibrant career outside the home as a bus driver. She was highly regarded for her reliability and care for those she transported, ensuring they arrived safely at their destinations. Pat's work ethic and commitment to her community were evident through her reliability and the relationships she built during her tenure.


Pat's energy extended beyond her family and work. Her passion for service was evident in her many years as a Girl Scout Leader, where she instilled values of courage, confidence, and character in young girls. With the same fervor, she participated in the Elks Club, contributing her time and talents to various community initiatives. Volunteering was not just a pastime but a cornerstone of Pat's life, emblematic of her selfless nature.


Those who knew Pat describe her as generous, loving, and selfless. She had a gift for making people feel cared for and valued, never missing an opportunity to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement. Pat's spirit of giving and kindness left a profound impact on everyone she met.
