Pamela C. Young

Young, Pamela C. (nee Ellsworth) Passed away on March 27, 2008 at the age of 37 from breast cancer. Beloved wife of James B. Young II. Daughter of Patricia (The late Terrence) Ellsworth. Dear sister of Beth (Jim) Erfert, Marcia (Brian) Howe, Jennifer (Bruce) Billington, Erin (Mark) Wermeling, Mark (Laura) Meyers and Raymond Ellsworth. Sister-in-law of Danielle Jones. Daughter-in-law of Kathy and James Young. Further survived by 4 nieces, 4 nephews other relatives and friends. Pam was an elementary teacher for the past 11 years in the Milwaukee Public Schools, most recently as special education teacher at Starms Discovery Learning Center. Pam was the founder and Cub Scout leader for Pack 22 and had recently been recognized by the Boy Scouts of America with the Distinguished Merit Award and the Quality Award for Pack 22. Pam earned her BA degree in 1992 from Cornell College, Mt. Vernon, IA, her teaching certificate in elementary education in 1997 from UW Milwaukee and her MS in Exceptional Education in 2004 from UW Milwaukee. Pam was president of MANtrak model railroad club, enjoyed gardening, spending time with friends, watching Doctor Who, being with ''her Kids'' at Starms and playing with Einstein, her black lab. Visitation Monday March 31 at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel from 4-8 PM and thereafter on Tuesday at Unitarian Universalist Church West (13001 W. North Ave.) from 10 AM - 10:45 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers memorials to After Breast Cancer Diagnosis would be appreciated.
