Passed away at home peacefully with his family at his side at the age of 91 on August 31, 2018. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Ann. Devoted father to Linda (Robert) and Russell (Monica). Loving Grampie of Katrina, Elizabeth, Cassandra, and Robert (Sean) Sanders. Son of John and Lydia. Brother of John (Mae), Thomas (Maxine), and Eunice (George) Koller. Survived by other relatives and friends. Retiree of McGraw-Edison (Cooper Industries) with multiple patents including the All-Film Capacitor. He was a decorated war veteran who served in the Pacific with the Army Air Force during WWII. He also served in the Korean War. He celebrated military experience with 2 honor flights to Washington D.C. He enjoyed being at home with family, and traveling with his wife of 46 years. Norbert lived in Greendale for 60 years. He was capable of fabricating and repairing almost anything, and enjoyed working on projects. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to the Wisconsin Sheltie Rescue attn: Lisa Martin N4535 Hwy 55 Chilton, WI 53014. Visitation held on September 11, 2018 at Max Sass & Sons Funeral Home 8910 W Drexel Ave from 9AM to 10:30AM with service at 10:30AM. Interment to follow at Southeastern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove at 12PM.
