Burbey, Norbert A. Passed away peacefully on February 11, 2015 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Verla (nee Bohnen) for 64 years. Loving Pops of Thomas (Lisa), the late Richard (Pamela), Gregory (Diane), Robert (Karen), Kenneth (Cassi) and Patrick. Proud grandpa of 13 and great-grandpa of 2.8. Dearest brother of Mary Carl, Louis (Nelda) and Donna Nelson. Loving father-in-law of Rita Burbey, the late Kathleen Burbey, Kolleen Korum and Donna Burbey. Further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by 7 brothers and 1 sister. Norbert was a WWII Army Veteran, member of Schiller-Kulchar-Fohr Post 8343 VFW, retired longtime employee of Ladish Co. and an avid fisherman from his pier on Wind Lake. Visitation on Monday, February 16, 2016 at ST. MARTIN OF TOURS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7963 So. 116th Street, Franklin from 3pm until time of Funeral Mass at 5pm. Private interment.
