Nick Schmidt

Schmidt, Nick Found peace on December 1, 2018 at the age of 74. Survived by love of his life Gigi, married for 53 years. Loving father of Gregg (Cheryl), Gary (Amy), Amanda (Ryan) Maughan and Brad (Melissa). Proud Papa of Jack, Sam, Hailey, Emily, Elliott, Emmett, Eleanore, Ben and Lillian. Dear brother of Lori, Jim (Cindy) and Tom (Linda). Very special brother-in-law of Midgi and Jim. Fond uncle of Andy. Best friend and son-in-law of Florence “Winnie” Plonty. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Wednesday December 12, 2018 from 4-7 pm with a service at 7 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel. Interment Thursday December 13, 2018 at 11 am at Forest Hill Memorial Park (3301 E. Forest Hill Ave, Oak Creek). Nick was a member of the Oak Creek American Legion Post, longtime member of the South Milwaukee Yacht Club and retired from Modern Machine after 28 years to become a full time landlord. Nick enjoyed working, spending time up north and loving his family. We love you Dad!
