Nathan E. Kraucunas

Nathan E Kraucunas Passed peacefully on November 1, 2021 at the age of 71.  A lifelong Milwaukee resident, Nate was the son of the late Edward and Bernice Kraucunas.  He graduated from UW-Milwaukee and MATC and retired from the Milwaukee Public Museum after 30 years of service as Curator of Ornithology. Nate was a kind and generous man who will be missed by many.  He loved sailing, travel, photography, nature, animals and sharing a good story.  Nate was a longtime member of both the South Shore Yacht Club and committee member of Lakefront Festival of Art.  A celebration of his life will be held on November 10, 2021 at South Shore Yacht Club, gathering at 2pm, remembering at 3pm.  Memorial donations may be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society or Milwaukee Art Museum.
