NancyLee Marie Torzala, known to many as simply Nancy, passed away on October 16, 2023, in Milwaukee, WI, due to an aortic dissection. Born on December 3, 1936, in Menominee, MI, to Leonard and Sophie DuCharme, she was a woman of passionate spirit, creative talent, and thoughtful demeanor.
Nancy graduated from Marinette High School, demonstrating her love for learning early on. She was a true homemaker, dedicating her life to her family and turning her house into a warm, loving home. Her family, who were at the heart of her life, remember her as a woman of great strength and grace.
Married to Jerome Torzala for almost 67 years, she was a devoted wife and a loving mother to their three sons, Christopher, Randolph, and Robert. She was also a beloved sister to Ronald and Kenneth DuCharme, and Patricia Torzala (DuCharme).
Nancy's family was her pride and joy, and she took immense pleasure in their achievements and successes. Grand and Great-grandmother to six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Nancy's interests were as diverse as they were abundant. She had a love for ballroom dancing, a hobby she pursued with great enthusiasm. Her feet moved with the rhythm of the music. An artist at heart, Nancy also found joy in painting and crafts, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her unique perspective of the world. Her creations adorned her home, adding a touch of her personal style to every room.
Nancy's love for crocheting was known among her friends and family. Her hands worked magic with a crochet hook and yarn, producing pieces that were both practical and beautiful. She made many blankets, scarves, and slippers, each one a testament to her skill and creativity.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Nancy also loved to read. She was a voracious reader with a particular interest in theology studies and history, her curiosity and thirst for knowledge never waning. Her garden was another source of joy for her. She took great pride in tending to her plants and flowers, her garden a vibrant display of her nurturing nature and green thumb.
Nancy was a woman of faith and drew strength from her beliefs. She treated everyone she met with respect, always ready to lend a helping hand. She shared her passionate outlook on life with all who knew her.
In her passing, we remember Nancy not just for her accomplishments, but for the love and joy she brought into our lives. As we remember Nancy, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of creativity, and passion. Her legacy will continue to remind us of the power of love, the beauty of art, and the importance of family.

Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 808 Henriette Ave. Crivitz, WI. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 9 AM until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM., followed by Burial at St Mary's Cemetery.
