Nancy Joyce Bauman (nee Day) January 9, 1936 – March 26, 2022, Age 86 of Greenfield, Wisconsin. Passed away peacefully, March 26, 2022, after her brave journey with dementia. Beloved wife of 66 years to the late Richard J. Bauman. Amazing, loving Mother of Nita (Marc) Stika, Steve (Karina) Bauman, Judy (Dane) Dahlman, Barb (Tom) Labisch, Amy (Jim) Peters and Mary (Mark) Bannach. Proud Grandma of Fred, Dan, Christian, Steven Jr.(Heather), Derek, Stefanie (Ben), Joelle (Michael), Ericka (Devin), the late Anna, John, Alan, Jacklyn (Ethan), Tony, Nathan, Brett and Bryce (Erin). Dear Great Grandma of Arianna, Eddie, Ricky, Hannah, Luke, Maddison, the late Hannah, Timothy, Savannah, Scarlett, Shawn and Myla. Loving Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Our Mom was a devoted caregiver for many years to our Dad, her children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and many others. She was energetic and feisty. She loved long walks, swimming, dancing, and bowling. Mom was an avid reader, who shared her love of books with the countless children she nurtured. She was a wonderful homemaker with a servant’s heart, volunteering for numerous organizations. A lover of all animals, especially her constant companion, Romeo. She was a long-time member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Greendale, Wisconsin. Our family would like to thank the staff at Francis House Memory Care, especially Katie, Dorothy and Jen, and Moments Hospice for their gentle care and compassion. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at St. Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church, 7255 W. Grange Ave, Greendale, Wisconsin 53129. Visitation at 12pm followed by a Service at 1pm. Donations can be made to the Family or St. Thomas of Canterbury Church.
