Nancy A. Jost

Nancy A. Jost, age 86, of Franklin, went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 5, 2021. Nancy was born on November 29, 1934, in Milwaukee, WI, to the late Alois and Agnes (Sierzchulski) Krawczyk. She graduated from Pulaski High School and following graduation was employed by Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in Milwaukee. On October 27, 1956, she was united in marriage to Louis Jost in Hawthorne, California. After returning to Milwaukee, the Josts built their first home in Greendale, one of the first all-electric homes in the area, and later moved to Franklin. Nancy and Bud raised seven children and were also active at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Nancy enjoyed cooking, decorating her home, gardening, playing cards and celebrating Christmas. She took great pride in caring for her family and enjoyed every minute spent with them. Nancy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Louis “Bud” Jost, III and her seven children, Louis Jost, IV of Quito, Ecuador; Larry Jost (Lynette) of St. Louis, MO; Brian Jost (Joan Zepecki) of Delafield, WI; Bradley Jost (Dianna Zimmerman) of Ann Arbor, MI; Bruce Jost of Asheville NC; Paul Jost of Burlington, WI and Lorie (Todd) Koessl of Billings, MT; grandchildren, Ethan and Trevor Jost, Walsh and Lindsay Jost, Jackson, Saige, Adair and Giselle Jost, Alois Jost, Anthony (Kayla) Koessl and Brittany Koessl; and great-grandchildren Kaizen and James. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Krawczyk. Because of the importance of social distancing during the current COVID-19 pandemic no funeral or memorial service is immediately planned.
