Mildred Heikkinen

Heikkinen, Mildred E. Age 90. Passed away July 19, 2011 in Milwaukee, WI where she had lived for many years. Born in 1921 to William and Ameila Perrow of Alston, MI. She was the last surviving sibbling. Preceded in death by her parent, and brother Joe, Frank, Louis, Efrim, Henry, Bill, Larry and sister Leona Mary, Laura and Virginia, and grandson Jeff Jordan. She married Herman Alatalo of Baraga, MI and was widowed in 1943. They had 2 daughters Jean and Donna. She later married Robert Heikkinen of Chassell, MI, who died in 1971. Most of her work career was as a cook, working in many restaurants, and for Delta Sigma Fi as well as owing her own restaurant in South Range. She is survived by her daughters Jean Jordan of CA and Donna Mae Harris of Grand Rapids, MI, a grandson Guy Jordan of Milwaukee, WI, a grandson Dave(Karen)Harris of Pelkie, a granddaughter Connie Harris of Pensylvania, granddaughter Becky(John)Desens of South Dakota and Amy Harris of Canton, Mississippi, as well as 24 great-grandchildren, and many many nieces, nephews and extended families all over the country.
