Berry, Mike W. Passed away Monday April 12, 2010, Age 67. Former Husband and friend of Mary Perkins. Loving Father of Michael and Sean (Kate). Grandpa of Liam and Stella. Brother of Tom (Linda) and Pat. Brother in Law of Peter Perkins (Lisa) and Jay (Sheri) Perkins. Uncle of Steven, Jennifer, Katherine, Laura Beth, and Anthony, Sam Perkins, Forrest Perkins, Vannessa Perkins, Zach Perkins, and Shane Perkins. Loving unofficial Surrogate Father of countless others, too numerous to be named. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mildred, brother-in-law Mike Perkins, and his close friend Ellie. Memorial gathering at the Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home, Greenridge Chapel, Thursday, April 15, 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Memorial Service at Shoreland Community Church, 8710 N. Deerwood Dr., Brown Deer, WI, Friday April 16, 2:00pm. Private burial at the Old Chapin Cemetery in Chapin, Iowa. As a young man, Mike was active in the Jaycees, Red Cross, and Big Bothers. He spent his professional career as an Administrator in the long term care industry. He served as President of the National Board of Nursing Home Administrators, and was an active member of the Barbershop Harmony Society (formerly SPEBSQSA) having earned the honor of Barbershopper of the Year.
