Michael W. Kaufmann

Michael W. Kaufmann Of Shorewood. Born January 6, 1970. Passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 25th, 2021. Michael “Whitey” Kaufmann graduated from Kettle Moraine High School before attending the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and subsequently beginning a long career in aerospace sales. He traveled throughout the world and was passionate about current events, politics, cars, architecture, cooking and most of all being a father. He is preceded in death by his father Darryl. Mike is survived by his loving mother Judy Kaufmann (Delafield, WI), his amazing son Freddy, Freddy’s wonderful mother Juli Kaufmann (Milwaukee, WI), dedicated brother Christopher Kaufmann and his partner Elizabeth Fernandez (Madison, WI), brilliant niece Auna Kaufmann-Schwartz (Hudson, WY) and countless friends, neighbors, and extended family who loved him. A celebration of life will be held when safe to do so. Our family truly appreciates the outpouring of love and support since Michael’s passing. In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations to Doctors Without Borders, Michael’s favorite charity, are encouraged.
