Michael Joseph Foley

Michael Foley, age 69, of Franklin, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was the beloved husband of the late Sherry Foley. Michael was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 31, 1952 and grew up in the Milwaukee area. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Patricia Foley, his step daughter Catina Scharf and by his brother Andy Foley. He is lovingly survived by his children: Christopher Foley and wife Emily Foley (grandchildren Emma and Eric), daughter Jennifer Pitterle with husband Nick Pitterle (grandchildren Camryn and Elliot), and step daughter Lucinda Udulutch (grandchildren Adam, Kaitlyn, and Rebecca). Michael also leaves behind his siblings Peter (Colleen) Foley, Tim Foley, John (Mary Ellen), Kevin (Marieann) Foley, Paul Foley, Danny Foley, and Maureen (Rick) Kip. The family would like to thank the Accent Care Hospice Team especially Colleen and Dion for the compassionate care they provided to Michael. They would also like to extend their gratitude to Michael's brother Danny for staying with him and honoring his wish to stay at home during these final days. Visitation will take place at the Max Sass Funeral Home - Mission Hills Chapel on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 4-6 PM. A brief prayer service will be celebrated at 6 PM. Burial will be private for the family at Forest Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Lung Association.
