Merry Kusz, age 63, unexpectedly passed away on March 1, 2022 after a long and well lived life. Merry was born on December 24th,1958 to Edward and Gertrude Jozefczyk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduating from Pulaski High School in 1977, she worked as a travel agent and became a well-known member of the Wisconsin Corvette Club. Merry purchased her tavern on February 1st, 1984, where she discovered her love for softball, billiards, and bowling. In 1985, Merry met David Kusz and the two were inseparable from that point on. They were married for 34 years and had one child, Jacqueline. Merry was a fiercely dedicated woman to her family and friends. Everyone came first and was above all else to Merry, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. Merry is survived by her husband, David Kusz; sister, Joan Klamert; daughter, Jacqueline Brandt and one grandson, Connor. An open house will be held at Merry’s Tavern, 5100 W Howard Ave, Milwaukee, in her honor on March 19th at 3 P.M.
