Mordeszewski, Mayme (Nee Orazem) of Greenfield, died peacefully on November 7, 2018 after a brave battle with cancer at the age of 98. Mayme grew up in Eveleth, Minnesota then moved to Milwaukee where two of her sisters were living. She began working at Allen Bradley where she met George and they were married in 1948. Mom was a great cook and had a passion for knitting and crocheting. She was especially proud of all the slippers she crocheted for everyone and gave them as gifts at Christmas. It was always entertaining to see who could secretly locate these hidden treasures; mark which one we wanted and tiptoe back downstairs…..we never fooled Grandma. Special thanks to Tudor Oaks Health Center and Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care for their loving care of Mayme. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mom of Donna (Robert) Snyder, Karen Reeves and the late Gary Mordeszewski. Loving grandma of Dennis, Wendy (Richard) Rytman, Sheri (Lew Jr) Jopek, Gina (Jarett) Zimmerman and Debbie (Fred) Marko. Great-grandma of Danny, Jessica, Christopher, Caitlyn, Ashley and Lew III. Further survived by great-great-grandchildren and other family members. Visitation on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at OUR LADY OF LOURDES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3722 So. 58th Street, Milwaukee from 11am to 1145am with the Funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Lady of Lourdes Food Pantry appreciated.
